It is 2014 and primary season has begun. This election is of vital importance for conservatives not only must we seize control of the Senate from Democrats but we must win the battle for the soul of the Republican Party which means winning all upcoming primaries is of utmost importance.  We already let one RINO slip through our fingers can't let that happen again. The following are my 2014 endorsements for Senate.

Well Election 2013 has come and gone, even though most like myself only had local stuff on the ballot there were a few high profile races these being, the New Jersey and Virginia Governors races and the Mayoral contests in New York City and Detroit. Needless to say it was a disappointing night.
THE CORONATION
As expected NJ Governor Chris Christie was easily reelected in what is conventionally a blue state. And already the talking heads have crowned him front runner status despite the fact that he is not well liked, trusted, nor does his values jive with a majority of conservative voters. If conservatives are united Christie doesn't stand a chance in the GOP primary but if the RINO establishment abandons Jeb and unites behind Christie only someone with superior name recognition that is an authentic conservative would beat them because divided we fail, United We Stand. Just say No to Christie!

THE STATUS QUO
Another election result that came as no surprise was the fact that New York City voted for Democrat De Blasio who is an even bigger nanny state type than his predecessor Bloomberg and that's saying something since Bloomberg was a huge nanny stater.
Second was the Bankrupt city of Detroit they opted for 4 more years of Democrat policies which already have run their city into the ground after running Detroit for decades. Democrat Mike Duggan isn't the answer for Detroit. It's sad the GOP didn't even run a candidate in Detroit the choice was between two Democrats. These two races illustrate how ill informed or misinformed the voters are in todays America they too readily accept whatever the media tells them. Part of the problem is the GOP doesn't even really try in those races so of course you can't win if you don't put the effort in. The Urban population votes lock step Democrat and it has run their cities into the ground  with high poverty rates, high crime rate, high unemployment,  few jobs to be had, and overall run down. They Need to Wake Up!

THE TRAVESTY
It was an outrageous travesty that non Virginian carpet bagger, former DNC chair, and long time Clinton crony Terry McAuliffe was able to win the Virginia governors race over TEA Party favorite Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli who was the first Attorney General to file against Obamacare. I guess it pays to outspend your opponent 10-1 including a 4-1 margin in closing days. It is an utter disgrace that the GOP establishment abandoned Cuccinelli in the final weeks for what end? To try and turn this election into some kind of referendum on the TEA Party? That's stupid. What the GOP establishment just did was hand the Democrats the governorship in a crucial swing state like Virginia.  Add to that the likely Democrat nominee is Hillary Clinton, allowing McAuliffe a longtime friend and crony of the Clintons to win there has seriously damaged our 2016 chances because now the Dems have a machine behind them in Virginia. For shame Republicans.
Grade: F-
THE REFERENDUM
The GOP Establishment, MSM, and Democrats would have us believe that the 2013 Election was a referendum on the TEA Party and they hope its Death Nail. That bunch of hog wash couldn't be further from the Truth. The TEA Party didn't have a candidate in New Jersey,  New York City or Detroit.  We did have a candidate in Virginia that lost, but he didn't lose because he was Tea Party.
The Establishment is touting Christie's win and Cuccinelli's defeat as Moderates with big personalities like Chris Christie win even in blue states while Conservative Hard liners like Cuccinelli lose in what was once a reliable red state and now is very purple. That narrative is pure fiction and they know it. Chris Christie won in a state that is predominantly Moderate to Liberal and he is a Moderate with a larger than life presence, his opponent was a Pelosi clone that wasn't funded by her own party, essentially she was fed to the wolves like a lamb to slaughter. Plus Christie was popular in Jersey because of his Storm response. It was one on one unlike in Virginia.  In the Virginia race it was a Three way between McAuliffe the Democrat, Cuccinelli the Republican, and Sarvis the Libertarian. The Republican only lost by about 2% while the Libertarian garnered 6% do the math take Sarvis out of the race, off the ballots, and polls Cuccinelli would of been ahead in the polls in a two way race thus turn out would of been stronger for a perceived winner, plus the added 6% of the vote that Sarvis had and it would of been a huge Tea Party win in Virginia.
Election 2013 was a referendum but not on the TEA Party, it was a referendum on 3rd Parties. Yet again a 3rd Party candidate cost us an Election by splitting the conservative vote. Then there is the revelation that we learned on the day prior to the election.  The Libertarian Candidate was funded by an Obama campaign bundler who paid to get him on the ballot. So if Democrats are paying money to get a 3rd Party candidate on the ballot its obvious they know this will split the vote. So to all those arguing for a new 3rd party, why should we make the Democrats job easy by splitting our vote willingly?  I hope this puts the calls for a 3rd Party to an end. If we are to win in 2014 we need to be united behind one candidate not divided between 2 or more candidates.
Election 2013 was more than just a referendum it was a Betrayal.
THE BETRAYAL
It is evident that the Establishment RINOs made a deal with the Democrats to bury the TEA Party. The Democrats left their Pelosi clone of a gubernatorial candidate in New Jersey Barbara Buono to the wolves and the Establishment GOP fed Ken Cuccinelli to the wolves in Virginia. Both cut funding their candidates, and in Virginia high profile Virginia Republicans endorsed McAuliffe or refused to get behind Cuccinelli. Eric Cantor a House Republican leader from Virginia members of his campaign staff worked for McAuliffe. Why? To squash the TEA Party Grassroots. The GOP Establishment hates its own base so much that they essentially threw a critical governor race in a swing state just to stick it to the Tea Party. This should be an outrage to all Republicans, they betrayed us, and sold us out for the last time. It's time we cleaned house of all these RINOs come primary time and all the Democrats come November 2014.

THE SHUTDOWN
Last month for 16 days the government was partially shutdown. If you listen to the Media the shutdown was the Tea Party Republicans fault. Now anyone paying attention would know this is a bold faced lie. The Republican House of Representatives passed three separate and different bills to keep government running. The first funded everything but Obamacare, Democrats in the Senate said No Deal! The second bill looked to delay Obamacare for a year and remove medical device tax, again Democrats said No Deal! Finally the 3rd bill only had the Delay and No exemptions for Congressional staffers. Once again Democrats said No Deal! The Senate passed what it called a "Clean CR" And they wouldn't negotiate away from this. Now remember the whole reason we were in that position was because the Dems just finally passed a budget this year after 3years of no budgets, the one the passed earlier this year was a stinker unpassable in the House with all the spending in the budget. The House yet again passed a responsible Budget that works towards reducing our deficit. The Dems moaned about wanting to conference 18 times. Here is what I say, there was no way the GOP was gonna conference off the Senate budget and not without leverage because Dems don't compromise they demand surrender. And since no agreement on a budget for last couple years hence why we have been getting by with Continuing Resolutions or CRs. Thus on October 1st in typical Democrat fashion they refused any compromise so the government partially shutdown. Then started the blame game as the Democrats likened the Tea Party and Republicans to Arsonists, Hostage takers, Terrorists, and the ever popular Racist. Like that would make us negotiate.  They would rant and rant about how we were holding America Hostage, playing Political games, they would say we were immature, throwing a tantrum, and we shut the government down till we got our way. They refused to negotiate however until we gave into Democrats demands. They took it further by intentionally inflicting as much pain as possible,  including; stopping Veteran benefits,  paying for armed guards to shutdown public landmarks and parks even for those that payed to stay at resorts in the parks, they temporarily shutdown Amber Alert, and other vital services like the Border. Democrat Harry Reid got caught telling DC mayor who pleaded to be allowed to use the city's money during the shutdown and Reid replied "I'm on your side, but Don't mess this up." That statement implies that it was the Dems that wanted the shutdown to score political points. Its the Democrats that refused every deal and compromise offered, and only offered what they wanted and tried to ram it through. That's the Democrat idea of compromise we surrender and give them everything they want. This went on for 16 days and despite the Armageddon fervor of the left prior the world kept turning and didn't end. The GOP passed several bills to partially fund some of the areas affected such as parks, vets, etc. The Dems wouldn't touch those bills, it was their way or the high way. But at that point another faux crisis loomed.
DEBT CEILING SURRENDER
On October 17th we were due to hit the debt ceiling and as the day came close the left panicked proclaiming impending default if we didn't raise it. The truth is all that would have happened is DC would have had to work within a budget and not spend more then we take in thus prioritize spending I know that's a foreign concept on Capital Hill. Instead the RINOs led by Boehner and McConnell surrendered everything they agreed to fund government,  and give a temporary power to Obama to raise the debt limit. Included in this 11th hour surrender is an Obamcare exemption for Unions and a $2billion kickback earmark for McConnell in Kentucky. So these Rinos sold Americans out for kickbacks, and to be liked by the Dems. Its time to clean house of every spineless coward in the GOP, along with weasel Democrats. So after everything, weeks of fighting and holding our ground we surrender and give gifts to the Dems, and McConnell sold us out. This corruption needs to be cleaned up next couple of election cycles. With October 1st past, Obama got his way and His signature achievement the so called Affordable Care Act aka Obamacare began implementing its individual mandate and the exchanges.
OBAMA CARE TRAIN WRECK DISASTER
After more than 3 years of propaganda and hype the bill ironically named The Affordable Care Act that was rammed down our thoats in March of 2010 a bill nobody wanted began implementing its Individual Mandate and Exchanges in October.  You will see the irony in the name shortly. The moment we had dreaded was upon us Obamacare was being implemented. And what a train wreck it was. For starters for days you couldn't even get on the site due to consistent errors, if you could somehow overcome the mountain of technical errors then you had to fill out a massive partial but mostly complete application that takes hours in order to find out the prices this included bank info. And as if the glitches, and lengthy invasive application weren't enough of a nightmare, then people saw the prices. You see the ironically named Affordable Care Act better known as Obamacare had premiums ranging from $400 to $1,000 plus a month and on top of that  deductibles ranging from $3,000 to $13,000+ that's anything but Affordable as Americans discovered. So many opted out and took the fine of several thousand rather than pay the outrageous health price tag. Now if you refused to pay the fine they could suspend your license, put a lein on your house, gouge your bank account, and possible jail. Wow unbelievable, a service Americans didn't ask for or want, we will be mandated to have by March 2014 and its not Affordable as promised nor is it easily Accessible due to the glitches and lengthy application.  As we have found out Obamacare fell way short of its registration goal by a lot. Many filled info out but opted out, most of the rest only got Medicare. So with maybe 5000 enrolled but only a few actually bought insurance. Another outrage is that the Obamcare exchange sites are not secure with zero protection from hackers and identity thieves. In fact HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelieus admitted that they don't screen Obamacare Navigators for Criminal records, this should be an outrage to all Americans. I wouldn't put my information on site that's not secure. On top of that to make this train wreck even worse millions have lost their current Health Insurance.  Whatever happened to "If you like you plan you can keeo it"?  I guess now the words "if it doesn't make a change or we deem it bad" thus another lie and broken promise. More double talk and doubling down on this train wreck. Oh and the icing on this mess a woman with Cancer lost her insurance and when she demanded her plan back because she liked it. She was told that her plan was bad, and Obamcare which was more expensive was better. She argued and they essentially told her she is too stupid to understand that her plan was bad and Obamcare was better. Yeah that's gonna go over well. And another broken promise about pre existing conditions too. Now the question is was this train wreck an accident or by design?
The Answer it was by design. One just has to listen to the new rhetoric to realize this was planned. They are now going around saying that Americans that are losing their insurance are losing bad plans. The Dems are blaming insurance companies for the problems. It doesn't take a genius to see that Obamacare is about gouging people for tax money, collapsing private insurance, this setting the stage for Single Payer Universal Health Care. Think about it how did the techies that brought us the high tech Obama campaign who had 3 years to set this site up totally botch it? Answer they didn't its designed to fail, so they can get single payer, these people are devious and downright evil.
In conclusion the month of October brought us a new Hero in Senator Ted Cruz who bravely fought against Obamacare with a 21 hour filibuster. It showed us how spineless and cowardly the GOP Establishment is under Boehner and McConnell. And it vindicated conservatives with Obamacares disasterous train wreck of a rollout. 2014 can't come fast enough.

Tomorrow is a pivotal day for Conservatives. And all eyes are on Wisconsin and the attempted recall of their first term Governor Scott Walker by the Liberal Union Machine. A win in Wisconsin tomorrow will send a direct message to the Obama Administration and his allies. The Democrats and their Juggernaut of allies; the media, the unions, OWS, etc. And it will be a precursor of things to come in November with the Presidential and Congressional Elections. So if you are in Wisconsin Please Get Out and Vote for Governor Scott Walker and  his Lt. Governor and reject this ridiculous recall and the Big Labor Obama Agenda. The Democrats want Governor Walker ousted because he took Bold Action in his state against the Big Labor forces putting an end to their influence by restricting the Public Employees ability to collective bargain this has saved the state millions and put them into a surplus. We as conservatives must protect Bold Reformers like Scott Walker so Get Out And Vote Tomorrow Wisconsin Conservatives. VOTE SCOTT WALKER!

Send A Message To The GOP Establishment: Vote Rick Santorum

Picture
On Tuesday April 10th, 2012; the unthinkable happened: Rick Santorum suspended his campaign for President of the United States despite being 2nd place in delegates and his home state's primary coming up on the 24th. Meanwhile Newt Gingrich who is 3rd place having won only two states and a consistant 3rd or Last place finisher in most states is STILL in the race and so too is last place Ron Paul who has yet to win a single state. This fact is enough to turn my stomach. Both Newt and Ron Paul should have dropped out a long, long, long time ago but they refused to out of ego and pride. Now the Last Conservative Standing has exited the race and it looks like Mitt Romney will the nominee. Or does it?

We all know why Rick suspended his campaign. It was for several reasons:
1. His Campaign funds dried up. Especially after Foster Friess was intimidated into cutting Rick off following the losses on April 3rd in Wisconsin and Maryland.
2. The Texas Delegation led by Texas Governor Rick Perry a Newt supporter refused to switch its delegate allocation to Winner Take All for its May 29th primary.
3. Polls in Pennsylvania were taking a negative turn. And it was possible Rick could lose his home state to Romney
4. Newt Gingrich's continued refusal to exit the race. If Gingrich had bowed out 2 months ago Rick would be ahead in delegates, he would have won Michigan, Ohio, Alaska, Georgia, and Wisconsin. He would have won Tennessee, Oklahoma, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana by larger margins and would have had greater than 50% of the vote. All of which would have led to greater delegate gains for Rick. In states Rick lost the margin would have been narrower minus Newt. With all of this Rick would have had plenty of money coming in and the Texas Delegation would have played ball for him. Rick would have cruised to the nomination, possibly sealing it in Texas.
5. With Campaign debt, Texas 155 delegates proportional, Newt costing him states, and the possibility he could lose his home state Rick saw no path to victory and thus he could no longer justify being away from his daughter Bella. All our prayers are with Bella and the Santorum family at this time.

Rick basically confirmed the above reasons last night in a conference call with supporters.
Now that we know why he left the race, where do we go from here you ask?
Well I am certainly NOT going to get behind any of the other candidates that is for sure. Rick has not endorsed anyone yet and thus still has his delegates. As long as he has his delegates he can still get back in this race. Now you ask how can you make this happen? Well you can do three very important things:

1. Money: Help Rick pay off his campaign debt of $1 million and possibly give him funds to campaign again.
2. Promote: Continue to campaign for Rick with blogs, articles, videos, word of mouth, buttons, T Shirts, Signs, etc.
3. Vote: Finally and most importantly vote for Rick in your upcoming primary anyway. Make a statement. Send a message to the GOP Establishment: WE PICK RICK!!!!

Last night when asked about possibly re entering the race Rick said "Stay Tuned". He made it clear that he was not giving up his delegates and left it up to us as to who we vote for. So Game Still On!
Hopefully if Rick gets enough money, support, and votes maybe he can win Pennsylvania anyway possibly more. If this happens shockwaves will be sent throughout the GOP. If we can at the very least top Newt it will be good. So all you Santorum supporters out there, Rick has fought hard for us, now it is our turn to fight hard for him. It is our turn to be the leaders.  Stand Firm And Pick Rick Santorum!

The Radical Edge Guide For Campaign Strategy

Picture
Someone in a comment to one of my blogs asked me to give specific advice on what they could be doing to help and strategy direction. Well here are my suggestions:

1. Objective-The first thing you need to do is define the campaign's goal before you can achieve. For the Tea Party and the Santorum campaign is to Work towards getting 1144 Delegates. We can not concede the delegate battle by making it seem our only chance is at a brokered convention. Its far from over and we can still reach 1144.

2. Strategy-Very important in any campaign is a gameplan on how to accomplish the Objective of the campaign. The strategy makes up the bulk of a campaign and is divided into several parts:
a). Promotion-It is always important to promote your candidate and you do this through signs, bumper stickers, buttons, word of mouth, social media, etc. It is good to get your candidate's name out there, and get people familiar with his positions.
b). Educated-Vital to any campaign is a group of staff and volunteers that are well informed of their candidates positions. This will allow you to counter any smear or attack with facts. You should also be familiar with your states rules for Primaries or caucuses, and how delegates are allocated. Its always good to be informed.
c). Opposition Research-Just as it is important to know all about your candidate it is just as important to dig into the opponants background and record so that you can share this information with others and allow voters to make a better informed choice.
d). Get Out The Vote-Since votes determine the winners and losers in a political race, it is vitally important to work towards getting as many of your people to the polls as possible. The Santorum Campaign has the Call from Home Effort and it works, people much prefer the personal touch to a robo call.
e). Energy/Enthusiasm-Attend Rallies, Sign Waves, and Campaign Events in your state as often as possible. This serves multiple purposes. One it shows support for your candidate. Two it shows he has energy and enthusiasm behind his candidacy. And finally it serves as emotional fuel to fire you up, re energize your battery from the stresses of a long campaign.
f). Vote-Lastly you got to actually go out and cast your vote. Every vote matters, this years Iowa Caucus is testament to that fact.

3. Grass Roots/Net Roots-A campaign needs volunteers working at the grassroots level or working online as netroots in order to spread its message. Team Santorum has done a really magnificent job organizing, and sharing links, and keeping people informed and updated. Without grassroots a campaign could not succeed as we are the lifeblood that keep it going. Some things you can do at the Grassroots/Netroots level to help:
a). Volunteer-Help out at campaign events
b). Rally-Attend rallies to show your support.
c). Be a Billboard-Wear campaign buttons, put the bumper sticker on your car, wear campaign shirts and hats, wear a Santorum Vest,  and post the sign in your yard. Go all out. Don't be afraid to create your own slogans.
d). Tell your Friends-Talk up your candidate to friends, family, and anyone you meet
e). Blog/Comment/Share-If you are talented write a blog, otherwise post comments, share links like crazy, and stay engaged in the race.
f). Videos/Pics/Graphics-If you are artistic or creative make a video, design, Pic, or Graphic to post. If not make sure that those that others make go viral by sharing.
g). Create a FB page/group-If you are dedicated and have the time create your own facebook fan page or group to show your support for your candidate.
h). Connected-Please remain in contact with your local Tea party and 9/12 groups.
i). Tweet-Don't limit yourself online use multiple social medias.
j).  Design-If you are talented design your own Santorum Shirts, Hats, and Banners.
k). Leadership-If you have leadership skills, take charge in organizing Sign waves, and other events in your area.
Whatever it is you do just BE INVOLVED!

4. Delegates-We need people to step upto the plate and volunteer to be delegates to go to the Republican National Convention in August. It is the delegates that could ultimately decide this nomination. So this is of vital importance.

5. Money-Finally every campaign needs money in order to do a lot of the things they do; like signs, ads, etc. So if you can donate whatver amount you are comfortable with to your candidate.

If we can follow this guide I know that Team Santorum can win!

Historical Perspective on the 2012 Campaign

Picture
Today voters in Wisconsin, Maryland, and the District of Columbia(DC) will make their voices heard by voting in todays primary. I thought  now would be the perfect time for a little perspective on todays race.

There was a candidate that the media and the GOP Establishment called "Crazy, Extreme, Too, Conservative, and Unelectable". Sound Familiar? The candidate they were speaking of was California Governor Ronald Reagan. They didn't do this to Reagan  just once but twice. In 1976 when he ran against Ford, they said he was "too Exteme" "too Conservative" and "Unelectable" neither candidate achieved the magic number to become the nominee so they went to the convention with Reagan actually ahead in delegates, but the establishment would not accept Reagan as the nominee because he was "unlectable" so they brokered things and forced Ford on us since he was the "electable moderate". We all know what happened next in November the "electable moderate" lost to radical lefty Jimmy Carter. Then in 1980 Reagan ran again against George HW Bush and other moderate candidates. Do you think the GOP learned their lesson from 4 years previous? Of course not. Again they went on their crusade to halt Reagan because he was "unelectable", this time however Reagan won the nomination outright. The GOP Establishment was not happy, so they immediately set out to sabotage Reagan rather then get behind him they pushed an "electable" moderate Republican John Anderson to run as a 3rd Party candidate to split the vote and insure Carter's re election. Yes the GOP Elites actually preferred the Liberal/Socialist Carter to having the Conservative Reagan. We of course all know what happened in 1980 despite the odds Reagan won the election in one of the largest landlslides in history. Thats right the so called "unelectable" Reagan beat both the supposed "Electable" Moderate Anderson, and President Carter.  Conservatism WON overwhelmingly, maybe if they establishment had listened in 1976 we would have avoided the disasterous Carter years. Reagan went onto win a 2nd term in an even bigger landslide, his VP was given the benefit of the doubt in 1988 but turned out to be a moderate and lost re election. No matter how many times they have tried to run a moderate and fail, they never learn and keep trying. In 1992, '96, and 2008 they ran moderates who were supposed to be "electable" rather than more conservative options and every time they lost in the general election.

Flash Forward to the present and the 2012 GOP Presidential Primary and yet again the Establishment is shoving their "electable moderate" Mitt Romney down our throats, despite the huge conservative victory in the 2010 mid terms powered by the TEA Party and candidates deemed "unelectable" by the establishment and now they are co opting those same Tea Party Representatives and Senators and lining them up behind their guy.  It is eerie how similar this election is to 1980. We have an unpopular, failure of a President, the GOP Establishment ramming their "electable" moderate Romney and yet again they are calling the conservative in the race "crazy, too extreme, too conservative, and unelectable" saying this of course about Rick Santorum like they did of Reagan so many years ago. Only now in todays highly tense politics I have seen Rick referred to as a "Pro Life Statist"  whatever that is. and a "Chrisrian Fascist".  The truth is Rick Santorum is a Principled Conservative with Convictions and that scares the left and the Establishment, who want to preserve the status quo. Rick Santorum is very much Electable just as Reagan was, history has proven that it is the so called "electable" moderates that aren't actually electable. And it is Reagan that put it best "You can't expect to win with pale pastels but with Bold Colors" translation moderates don't win because they are pale imitations of the Left and Democrat lite doesn't beat the real thing. It takes stark and real contrast to win especially against an incumbant. Only one Republican has defeated an incumbanr Democrat in the last 100 years and it was that Bold Contrast the so called "Unelectable" Conservative Ronald Reagan in 1980. So this your choice do you want a Bob Dole or a Ronald Reagan to run against Obama? If you pick the latter then Vote for Rick Santorum 2012

It Is Time For The Tea Party To Wake Up and Stop The Establishment

Picture
I have to ask What Happened to The TEA Party? In 2009 and 2010 the TEA Party rallied in opposition to Obama's policies and we managed to deliver a huge blow to the out of control Obama Agenda in the form of Election victories in 2009 and 2010 giving Republicans control of the House with record gains, adding 7 seats in the Senate including the unlikely win in Massachusetts, and flipping Governorships and state legislatures all across the country. We sent RINO's(Republican In Name Only) packing in 2010. It was a historic election and a huge mandate. What Happened?
Our newly elected freshmen in congress moved the debate towards deficit reduction, while the establishment forgot their promises and moved to make compromise after compromise. Did the Tea Party forget its ideals and its objective for 2012?
The Tea Party started in opposition to the TARP bailouts, the Obama Stimulus, and it intensified into a national force during the Obamacare debate. The main objection with Obamacare being the individual mandate. We knew who was to blame for the crisis Obama's buddies Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, who were exempt in the so called Dodd Frank financial reform bill which did nothing but add more bureaucracy. Two other policies strongly opposed by the Tea Party were cap and trade and card check. Remember that any Republican that supported any of these was deemed a RINO?

So explain to me why the Tea Party is supporting and voting for Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney? Both supported TARP, the Stimulus, Individual Mandates for Healthcare, Carbon Cap and Trade systems, and both received money or did lobbying work for Fannie and Freddie. In 2010 we would have called these guys RINO's and voted them out. To top it off Newt back establishment liberal Dede Scozzafava "for the good of the party" in the NY 23 special election in 2009 over Tea Party Conservative Doug Hoffman. The result was Dede dropped out and endorsed the Democrat in the race but still received 6% of the vote which cost Hoffman the election. Neither of these men are champions of the TEA Party. These guys are clearly establishment RINO's. So why are they receiving TEA Party votes?

The objective is to oust President Obama, making him a one term President and to regain the Senate while continuing to replace RINO's with Conservatives. We won't achieve either objective if Mitt Romney is the nominee because conservatives won't turnout in large enough numbers to win for Romney like what happened in 2006 and 2008. Obama lite is not acceptable. I thought the Tea Party knew this, I guess they need reminding. Newt besides being a RINO, is pretty much finished in this race so to waste a vote on him is pointless.

The establishment has begun co-opting TEA Party Heroes of 2010 from Christine O'Donnell, Nikki Haley, Jan Brewer, Jim DeMint, Marco Rubio, and now Paul Ryan all have endorsed the establishments annointed one Mitt Romney. Do you want Willard "Mitt" Romney a RINO and a Flip flopper to be crammed down our throats and have two months of the Romney victory lap? Or do you want to derail the Romney express and be able to make your voice heard with your vote?

If you choose the latter then it is time for the Tea Party to join with social conservatives and unite behind one candidate that can halt the Romney express and that's Rick Santorum a candidate that never supported any of that stuff listed above. It is time for the Tea Party to Rise up again, get angry and reject the establishment's attempts to co opt and silence our voice. They want to end this primary and for us to sit down, shut up, and get behind their guy Romney "because they know what's best for us".  I am asking all TEA Party Americans to send a message loud and clear to the GOP Establishment:
WE PICK RICK!

Wisconsin and Maryland you have an opportunity to send Shockwaves through the political world by delivering crushing defeats to Mitt Romney making many establishment media experts heads explode. Time is running out to stop a repeat of the 2008 disaster. So make your voices heard and Vote for Rick Santorum.

Why Is The GOP Establishment So Desparate To End This Race?

Picture
In the past week we have witnessed an attempt by the media and the GOP Establishment to all but declare Romney the nominee. First you have the Romney campaign laughing at Rick Santorum's delegate math and arrogantly stating that Romney will be the nominee and the others should just drop out "so we can unite the party for the fall campaign". Then you have all the GOP media doing the same. Now just in the past few days we have had Jeb Bush, his father George HW Bush, Jim DeMint,  and yesterday Marco Rubio who said "Romney provided the starkest contrast to Obama" that's a joke because he does not provide any contrast. And now just today Congressman Paul Ryan of Wisconsin just endorsed Romney saying of Romney that ""I am convinced that Mitt Romney has the skills, the tenacity, the principles,  the courage and the integrity to do what it takes to get America back on track," and "I believe he is the right person for the job." This becoming a chorus, the establishment has been piling on the endorsements this week in an attempt to cram Romney down our throats. They say that it is time for the race to end and to unite behind Romney. Despite the fact that half the states haven't had their vote yet. What's the Rush?  Last week at this time they were on this kick that conservatives were starting get behind Romney following his win in the very blue state of Illinois, Obama's home turf. They said that people were turned off by so called Santorum gaffe's and that it was pretty much over. What happened? Why the sudden need for the race to end immediately? Rick Santorum won Louisiana that's what happened. And not as close as experts predicted either but by a 23 point margin over Romney who only won one county in the entire state and that is the one with New Orleans. Rick smashed Romney in every category but one and that was the over $200k crowd. Newt "mr south" suffered his biggest thrashing on his so called turf hauling in only 16%. This result has the establishment elites in a fit because their narrative about conservatives getting behind Romney had just got thrown back in their face and rejected in Louisiana and it highlighted Romney's weaknesses again. So now we have this train of endorsements this week to bring back the air of inevitability to intimidate Rick Santorum out of this race. Its not working. All people like Rubio and DeMint have done is anger those that once believed them heroes of the conservative cause. Also this week we saw one campaign pretty much give up even trying to win but not officially calling it quits. I am talking about of course Newt Gingrich who let got one third of his campaign staff and replaced his manager, all of the embedded media have stopped following him as he has officially stopped actually campaigning. Instead he is devoting all resources to call delegates to pick him in August. He has even started charging $50 for a picture with him. Newt has clearly sunken to a new low. I implore all Newt people to PLEASE stop enabling  this man who clearly doesn't have beating Romney before the convention in his agenda. I should add that according to GOP rules that anyone having not received a plurality of the vote in at least 5 states can't be on the ballot meaning Newt and Ron Paul are out of luck, only Rick Santorum and Romney will be on the 1st ballot, we don't want a brokered convention either. As I have explained before a brokered convention does not end well for conservatives in 1976 Reagan took it to the convention with Ford and lost. Ford went onto lose to Jimmy Carter in the General election. The reason the establishment is pushing the narrative that our only choices are Romney or a brokered convention is because of several reasons. First it is a scare tactic to get people behind Romney rather than risk losing to Obama with a brokered convention. Second it builds the notion that Romney is inevitable and makes it seem as though Rick doesn't have a shot thus suppressing the vote. Third it has even conservatives pushing for it in hopes they can get someone like West or Palin in as the nominee. Fourth it allows stagnant Newt to stay in and still garner enough votes to keep Rick from ever catching Romney by dividing the vote. And finally it distracts us and gives us false hope for August when there isn't. Ron Paul's people have been planning for such an eventuality for years and as evidenced in Missouri they are working in conjunction with Romney. If this goes to the convention an establishment candidate will be chosen. The recent news that Newt had a secret meeting with Romney before Louisiana should have everybody wondering. Since then as mentioned above Newt has pretty much given up actually campaigning and is solely focused on August, but he is still technically in the race and will still take votes away from the other conservative. Newt says that no deal was made for him to get out. And I actually have to agree with that because I think the deal was for him to stay in the race as long as possible to keep Rick from catching him. There are only three possibilities at this point and they are as follows:

1. Newt stays in the race till the end takes enough votes to keep Rick from winning states like Wisconsin, Maryland, Connecticut, Delaware, and New York in April. It will also keep Rick from getting over 50% in Pennsylvania a state Rick should win. In May with states like North Carolina, Nebraska, Arkansas, Kentucky, and Texas likely going to Rick. Newt's presence will once again keep Rick from getting over 50% this is important because if Rick can get over that mark he can claim the vast majority of the delegates in those states if not then Mitt Romney will be able to claim large enough chunks of the delegates to keep his lead from ever shrinking. Romney will most likely win DC, Rhode Island, and Oregon but Newt will cost Rick the chance to win Indiana and West Virgininia.  Newt is not likely going to gain any significant amount of delegates going forward so his presence is puzzling. Finally Newt costs Rick any shot at beating Romney in California, New Mexico, Montana or New Jersey in June and from getting over the 50% threshold in South Dakota. The reality is with Newt in the race there is a strong possibility Romney could clinch 1144 by Utah on June 26th.

2. Newt remains in the race and none of the candidates surpasses the 1144 mark but Romney falls less than 200 shy and is the closest. We go to the convention and Romney brokers a deal with either Newt or Ron Paul or both and becomes the nominee on the 2nd or 3rd ballot.

3.  Whether Newt remains in the race or not he becomes irrelevant Rick wins Wisconsin and possibly Maryland then goes onto win 4 of 5 states on April 24th with Romney only winning Rhode Island. Then Rick goes onto have a HUGE month in May only losing Oregon to Romney. Then finally manages to pull off upset wins on June 5th and wins the nomination outright as the delegate count adjusts through the convention process. This scenario would be much easier to achieve if Newt would drop out and get behind Rick Santorum.

It has become clear that the establishment is afraid to let this primary race to go on because the longer that it goes on the more chance there is for their guy to lose. This nonsense that we need to wrap this up now to come together to beat Obama in the fall is pure garbage. In 2008 we basically wrapped up our nomination process in February following Super Tuesday and offically ended in late March while the Democrats primary went on till June and appeared poised to go their convention only it didn't. Who won the early finishers or the late finisher? Well since we are looking to unseat Obama I think the answer is obvious. We need the primary to continue until someone reaches 1144 or all the states have voted whichever happens first. I implore all conservatives to unite behind Rick Santorum to halt the Romney express.

4 Candidates And Only One Is Electable

Picture
MR. ETCH-A-SKETCH MITT ROMNEY
Well a member of Mitt Romney's Campaign staff recently stated that as soon as Governor Romney wraps up the nomination he will shift to the Center and his "Conservatism" will be erased like an "Etch A Sketch". I don't know about you but I want a REAL Conservative not a candidate that can erase his Conservatism at will and as easily as he fabricated it. That's fake, phony, fabricated, not authentic, and it proves my point from my previous blogs. Mitt Romney has no core convictions, he is a manufactured candidate just like a certain current White House Occupant
Already the media is trying to spin this to say that he meant that he was going to reset for the General election campaign like all candidate's do.  Yeah and that is the problem we have with Romney and all of the candidates from the past, they weren't genuine or honest about their intentions or what they stood for, they said whatever they had to in order to get elected. Ronald Reagan was the exception and the media despised him. We don't need a candidate to "Reset" like some computer or VCR or Clock. We need an honest human being that believes what they say and actually does what they say they are going to do. Someone with actual convictions and an understanding of FREEDOM. That person is not Mitt Romney. It would be nice  if we could have a GENUINE CONSERVATIVE as our candidate. Clearly that's not "Mr. Etch A Sketch" Mitt Romney the guy that has conservatism that can be ERASED!!!!

NEWT'S LAST STAND
We have had 35 contests in this Primary thus far including in America's territories. Newt Gingrich has two wins out of that 35 and 158 delegates based on estimates that aren't Pro Romney and he thinks he is still viable. He hasn't really been relevant for almost two months now. Newt has two wins and one of them is his home state which he didn't even win with over 50% of the vote, the other is his home states neighbour which came back in January before his downward slide. Newt made as central to his electability argument his debate performances only he got trounced in the final debates in Florida after which he whined about atmosphere.  He went on to finish 2nd in Florida and Nevada since then he has finished 3rd or last in every contest but 3 one of those was his Georgia win the others were his 2nd place finishes in Alabama and Mississippi. Newt has also stated that he has a "Southern Strategy" to win the nomination. Only he hasn't won very many Southern States. He finished 3rd in Tennessee, Oklahoma, and 2nd in Alabama, Mississippi, and wasn't even on the ballot in Virginia or Missouri. With Louisiana this Saturday, Newt is polling 3rd there. He is polling 3rd in North Carolina which holds its primary on May 8th.  With only 4 more primaries in the South and not for month after Saturday how can he justify staying in the race? Now he seems hell bent on staying in it till the convention hoping to get the nod in some brokered convention. One problem if he can't show a plurality of votes in at least 5 states he won't be allowed on the ballot at the convention. Since Newt can't do better than 3rd in most states that won't happen. His campaign which is running out of money is now touting this $2.50 per gallon gas and 4.2 % unemployment campaign rhetoric. And that is all it is rhetoric, campaign promises like his moon base, or Obama's insuring 30 million and more transparant government. Newt is even less electable than Romney because he doesn't have money and he has personal baggage on top of all the problems Romney also has, but worse than that Newt is no longer viable for the nomination, he has zero path to 1144 and all he is doing is helping the Massachussetts Moderate win states. At 2-33 Newt would be dead last in any sports league, not in the hunt for a championship. It is time for him to bow out and get behind Rick Santorum. Put the nation before his own personal ambitions.

DELEGATES MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE PEOPLE'S VOTE
Then you have Ron Paul the self proclaimed "Constitutionalist".  This claim is a joke, this election cycle Ron Paul has yet to win a single state and most of the time he is 3rd or 4th place in states, his one chance to go head to head with Romney he lost. Yet in caucus states his supporters have been creating chaos, disrupting the process, and attempting to usurp the will of the people by having their folks selected as delegates even though those delegates have been allocated to other candidates.  All in a scheme to use delegates to take the nomination at a brokered convention defying the will of the voters. This flies in the face of the constitution and freedom. Ron Paul and his cult of followers believe he is entitled to the nomination and they don't care that 85% of the party doesn't want him. Ron Paul a Constitutionalist? NO! Ron Paul is nothing but a typical power hungry politician.

SANTORUM: THE CANDIDATE WITH CONVICTIONS
Finally we have Rick Santorum the only candidate that actually has convictions. To those that say that Rick can't win or that he is unelectable or would get crushed by Obama. They are sadly mistaken. Rick Santorum has a Message that resonates with people: Faith and Family= FREEDOM!, Supply side economics for the Working Man, Made in America, Courage, and we need less government top down, more bottom up market based solutions. Rick has a plan. He is a passionate, inspiring, and authentic, leader that delivers his message to the people effectively. He is the only one that can make a clear contrast on the issues and the only one that is winning with a money disadvantage which we will need come November. Rick Santorum has a better shot at beating Romney than Newt Gingrich for two reasons. Rick has won 12 states to Newts 2 and thus has more delegates. And Rick has higher favorables and can actually win in states outside of the south. Rick has broader appeal since he attracts those Reagan Democrats and Independants with his Manufacturing plan and Bold fiscally conservative plan for the budget and taxes. And most importantly Rick is humble and understands how precious life is, he is genuine and honest with the American people. Watching him in Louisiana the other night and it was apparant to me that I have never seen any candidate like him, while the others ramble out rhetoric and generalities, Rick Santorum displays his knowledge, wisdom, humility, and he is real with people. Rick unlike Mitt or Newt won't "reset" in November he will face Obama as the Conservative Alternative and stand by his Convictions. As Ronald Reagan is proof of Conservatism WINS!
